Crossroads makes full use of the feathered brushwork that has become a hallmark of my painting style. I work with bristle brushes that are intentionally irregular—uneven, frayed, and unpredictable. This choice lends the piece a looser, more organic energy that I find essential to my process. The frayed edges of the larger brushstrokes add texture and movement, creating a dynamic surface that feels alive and evolving.
